Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, forbearing the second respondent herein from proceeding any further with the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner as contemplated in memo No.17658/A5/A-52/2015-14 dated 29.06.2015 issued by him, without paying all the subsistence allowances accrued to the petitioner so far and without paying the further subsistence allowance to the petitioner until the proceedings against the petitioner are concluded. 1/4

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to forbear the second respondent from proceeding further with the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner as contemplated in memo No.17658/A5/A-52/2015-14 dated 29.06.2015 without paying arrears of subsistence allowance and continue to pay the subsistence allowance to the petitioner until the proceedings against the petitioner are concluded. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the proceedings were issued by the respondents on 21.03.2024 to show that subsistence allowance to a tune of Rs.13,50,434/- (not permitted to retire on 30.06.2015) were released from the date of suspension until the date of retirement. The very grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the disciplinary proceedings has been kept pending without paying the allowances and that the very purpose for which the writ petition is filed has already been fulfilled and cause does not survive any more. 2/4
