This petition has been filed to direct the Circle Inspector of Police, Thayanoor, Chengi Taluk to register his complaint dated 6.5.2015.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 6.5.2015, petition enquiry is pending in CSR 108 of 2015.

Under such circumstances, the respondent Police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR No.108 of 2015, and during the course of the enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above direction.
