ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to remove the Lock and Seal initiated by the respondent on 11.02.2023 to Shop No.79/99 owned by the petitioner situated at Cheran Towers No.78, Arts College Road, Coimbatore.

2. Mr.Najeeb Usman Khan, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal in the admission stage itself.

3. Heard Mr.T.Thiageswaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Najeeb Usman Khan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.

4. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation that the Lock and Seal proceedings initiated against the Shop No.79/99 owned by the petitioner situated at Cheran Towers No.78, Arts College Road, Coimbatore has been dropped in view of the fact that the petitioner has paid the entire property 2/5

tax arrears. According to him, Lock and Seal was also removed on 17.02.2023. Since the Lock and Seal has been removed, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.

5. After recording the fact that the petitioner has paid the entire property tax arrears and the respondent has removed the Lock and Seal, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
