ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondent herein to produce the body and person of Ganeshkumar, son of Chidambaram, aged about 40 years, before this Court and to set him at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that her son Ganeshkumar got married to Nithya Devi in the year 2009 and that he went missing from 07.02.2020 and that the police have not taken effective steps to secure him.

On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by Nithya Devi, wife of the detenu, a case in Ambattur P.S. Crime No. 173 of 2020 for 'man missing' has been registered on 07.02.2020 and the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
investigation is in progress.

Recording the same, the habeas corpus petition stands closed with a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ambattur to monitor the investigation in Crime No.173 of 2020 and keep the petitioner and Nithya Devi informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenu is secured, he may be produced before Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur under intimation to the petitioner and Nithya Devi. -s/d- Assistant Registrar True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar ssm To 1.The Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur.
