ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.498 of 2007 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Egmore, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said number under sections 409, 420, 465, 467, 468 r/w 471 of IPC on 28.08.2007, no final report is filed till date.

3. The learned Government Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

4. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
