ORDER

The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 303(2), 326(a) of BNS Act r/w Sections 21(5) of Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act, in Crime No. 07 of 2026, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. This Court has dismissed the earlier anticipatory bail petition of the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.1830 of 2026 on 28.01.2026 for the following reasons:

Considering the nature of allegations, the petitioners have five previous cases pending against them and also considering the fact that the petitioners are not only illegally quarried river sand but also caused damage to the ecology and river bed, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

3. Now, the present petition has been filed without any change in circumstances after the dismissal of the petitioner's earlier anticipatory bail petition. This clearly shows that the petitioner has abused the process of law. Hence, I am not inclined to reconsider the earlier order.
