O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to deal with the online application submitted by the petitioner on 15.12.2023, wherein, the petitioner has sought for the issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to the subject property. 2.Heard Mr.V.Anandhamurthy, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkirshnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents.

3.The case of the petitioner is that she is the owner of the subject property through a registered Sale Deed dated 29.12.1988. Subsequently, patta was also issued in the name of the petitioner and patta pass book was also given wherein, the property for which the patta was issued has been clearly mentioned. 4.The grievance of the petitioner is that subsequently Town Survey number was assigned and in that process, the name of the petitioner was not reflected in the revenue records. On coming to know of the same, the petitioner submitted an on-line application 2/4

before the 2nd respondent. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and considering the nature of grievance expressed by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to act upon the on-line application submitted by the petitioner on 15.12.2023 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
