The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 03.04.2024 seeking to repost him in Annamalai University on the grounds of disability within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a physically disabled person with 70% locomotor disability. In the meanwhile, he was transferred to Villupuram from Tiruvallur. He would further submit that the petitioner's native place is Chidambaram and because 2/5
of his physical condition, he finds it difficult to stay at Villupuram as he lacks family support. In this connection, the petitioner has given a representation dated 03.04.2024, and such representation is yet to be considered by the first respondent.
3. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first to third respondents would fairly submit that they would consider the said representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.
4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2024, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
