A.No.1100 of 2021 in C.S.No.402 of 2020 A.No.1100 of 2021 in C.S.No.402 of 2020 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN J, This application has been filed by the plaintiff seeking to correct the description of the 1st defendant. A memo had been filed by the 1st defendant stating that the 1st defendant has not been properly described in the short cause title and long cause title and in the statement of addresses to the plaint and in the body of the plaint.

2. The 1st defendant had been described as M/s.Kalaignar Private Limited. It had been pointed out the correct description is M/s.Kalaignar TV Private Limited. In order to enable the 1st defendant to participate in the Judicial Proceedings and also in order to enable the learned counsel to file vakalat duly authorized by the 1st defendant, it would only be appropriate that the application is allowed and necessary amendment is carried out so far as the suit is concerned.

3. The relief sought for is also to accordingly amend the name of the 1st defendant in all the connected applications. However, separate https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis/ 1/2

4. The present application is allowed and so far as the plaint is concerned, the name of the 1st defendant is to be amended from M/s.Kalaignar Private Limited to M/s.Kalaignar TV Private Limited.

5. Registry may carry out necessary amendment in the short cause title and long cause title, statement of addresses and in the body of the plaint wherever the name occurs.
