The writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to handover the possession of shop No.T/B/P-4 in Koyambedu Fruit Market, Koyambedu Wholesale complex in Koyambedu as per the representation of the petitioner dated 09.12.2024.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent called for application for the allotment of shop in the fruit market in the year 1997 and in pursuant to the same, the petitioner had applied through application and also paid a sum of Rs.250 on 14.05.2007. The lot was held on 20.11.1998 at about 11.00 a.m in Hotel Imperial. Thereafter, the respondent allotted shop No.T/B/P-4 on 17.11.1999 to the petitioner and extent of the platform shops is approximately 23.75 Sq.ft. 2.1.The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner was originally named as Sridhar @ Sridharan and on Gazette Publication No.12400 dated 27.06.2023, he changed his name to K.Sridharan. On 29.12.

2023, the respondent called upon him to produce original documents in respect of the shop application form, final allotment order, Ration Card, Voter Identification with Photo identification on 10.01.2024. The petitioner had expressed his difficulty in producing all the documents, since due to 2016 floods his house was drowned and could not secure any documents.

Hence, the present writ petition. 3.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 09.12.2024 will be considered on merits and in accordance with law on production of the document filed by the petitioner within a time stipulated by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and also perused the materials available on records.

5.In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent is directed to dispose of the above representation of the petitioner dated 09.12.2024 after giving due notice to both the parties, affording opportunity of personal hearing to consider the document filed by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
