R11 impleaded vide order dated 17.12.2021 made in W.M.P.No.14129 of 2021) PRAYER: This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned circular issued by the second respondent in Ref.No.46986/E1/5/2020 dated 19.02.2021 in so far as non-inclusion of the name of the petitioners working as Non-Medical Tutor / Assistant Professors to the post of Associate Professor and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioners in the panel for the year 2020-2021 and give promotion to the post of Associate Professor in accordance with their eligibility as per Service Rules. ORDER

The petitioners have filed this Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned circular issued by the second respondent in Ref.No.46986/E1/5/2020 dated 19.02.2021 in so far as non-inclusion of the name of the petitioners working as Non-Medical Tutor / Assistant Professors to the post of Page No.2 of 4

Associate Professor and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioners in the panel for the year 2020-2021 and give promotion to the post of Associate Professor in accordance with their eligibility as per Service Rules.

2. When the matter was taken for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in view of W.P.No.30705 of 2023 filed due to subsequent development, W.P.No.5472 of 2021 is not pressed and hence the same shall be dismissed as nothing remains to be considered further.
