ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation made on 28.11.2024.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's son met with a road accident and died. A case is also registered in Crime No.839 of 2015. There is a scheme known as the Chief Minister's Accident Relief Scheme, by which, an ex gratia amount of Rs.1,00,000/- to such victims. The petitioner made an application, but, till date, the same has not been processed and sanctioned.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Dr.S.Suriya, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice on behalf of the respondents, 2/6
would submit that the authorities will take up the representation for consideration and they will scrutinise the application of the petitioner and if they find that the petitioner is eligible, they will disburse the amount.
4. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to complete the said exercise within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a web-copy of this order without waiting for a certified copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
