ORDER
The above matter is listed today under the caption "for being mentioned". It is clarified that paragraph No.5 of this Court's earlier order dated 17.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.3967 of 2025 shall be modified to the following effect:-
5. In view of the above, the proceedings in C.C.No.118 of 2023 on the file of the XXIII-Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai is hereby quashed. The terms of Memorandum of Settlement Agreement shall form part and
parcel of this order. The petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- each, (Rupees Two Thousand only) as costs, to the Chief Justice Relief Fund, Tamil Nadu, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a photocopy of the receipt along with a memo reporting compliance in the Registry. It is made clear that the accused have entered into a compromise. Therefore, any lookout circular pending as against the accused have become infructuous. The petitioners can visit abroad if not involved in any other case."
2. Accordingly, the Registry is directed to issue a fresh order copy in Crl.O.P.No.3967 of 2025 dated 17.02.2025 after making necessary corrections. 28-02-2025 kv
