This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 26.4.2015.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.

It is seen that the petitioner has given the complaint to the District Collector and the Superintendent of Police and not to the Station House Officer, as required under Section 154 Cr.P.C. Under such circumstances, no positive direction, as prayed for can be issued.
