.. Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2012.

By consent, the writ petition is take up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that his father owned a property measuring an extent of 800 sq.ft. at No.75, Cheriyan Nagar, 1st Street, New Washermenpet, Chennai - 600 081 and he has also put up a superstructure. He was in possession and enjoyment of the property and was paying the taxes. After the demise of his father, the petitioner and his two sisters succeeded to his estate. The petitioner claims that he is in absolute possession and enjoyment of the above said property. The petitioner further states that without serving any notice as mandated under the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 the above property was acquired for extension of Ennur Bypass road. The petitioner in this regard submitted a representation dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

11.07.2012 to the first respondent and the second respondent fixed an enquiry on 11.09.2012 and it was adjourned to 26.10.2012 and on that day the petitioner attended the enquiry and produced the documents to show that he is the owner of the land and since he has not been favoured with any further response, he has come forward with this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Rajasekhar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

4. This Court without going into the merits of the representation dated 11.07.2012 submitted by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2012, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
