Alleging that the petitioner's son viz. Selvakumar, who is aged about 38 years is under the unlawful custody of the respondents 1 and 2 herein, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed. 2.Today, when the petition was taken up for hearing, the 2nd respondent herein had produced the petitioner's son before us. According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondents 1 and 2 had never taken custody of the petitioner's son, but rather he was admitted in a De-addiction Centre and that he has now been discharged. When we interacted with the petitioner's son, he expressed that he intends to reconcile with his wife who is living separately. Since the petitioner's son
has been now secured and in consideration of his opinion that he intends to live with his wife, he is set at liberty. The petitioner's grievance also stands redressed and hence no further orders are required. 3.This Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed accordingly. No costs.
