Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner herein dated 28.01.2014 and conduct an enquiry with regard to construction of compound wall in Sf.No.881 in Kumaralingam Village, Thiruppur District around the Singapidariamman Temple. By consent, the writ petition is take up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that he is a signatory to the representation dated 28.01.2014, submitted to the Hon'ble Chief Minister's Cell by one Mr.A.Sengamalai claiming as the President/Administrator of Arulmigu Singapidariamman Temple, Kumaralingam, Madathukulam Taluk, Thiruppur District. It was submitted with a prayer to direct the Revenue Department as well as the jurisdictional police not to intervene with the construction of the compound wall in and around the temple and since the representation has not been disposed of, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

would draw the attention of this Court to a memorandum in O.M.2309/2014/J2, dated 11.02.2014 emanated from the office of the District Revenue Officer, Thiruppur issued on behalf of the Collector of Thiruppur District, has called for a report from the Thasildar, Madathukulam Taluk and the concerned official has not responded to the said memorandum dated 11.02.2014 issued from the office of the District Collector, Thiruppur.

4. Heard the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents also.

5. This Court, without going into the merits of the representation of the petitioner directs the third respondent to respond to the memorandum in O.M.2309/2014/J2, dated 11.02.2014 issued by the office of the District Collector, Thiruppur by sending the report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
