ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A) and 14A of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, in Crime No.169 of 2022, is before this Court seeking anticipatory bail.

The petitioner is arrayed as fourth accused in connection with seizure of 105 liters ID arrack. Though the petitioner claims that he was not found in the scene of crime, the prosecution case indicates that the petitioner is the owner of the illicit arrack and through the other accused, he had been transporting the contraband. Based on the confession statement of the other accused, the petitioner has been arrayed as fourth accused. 3.

Taking note of the quantity of the illicit arrack and the role played by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain this anticipatory bail petition.
