Defendant Prayer: Original Petition has been filed under Sections 232, 246 and 276 of the Indian Succession Act read with Order XXV Rule 5 of O.S Rules, praying for grant of Letters of Administration in respect of last Will and Testament of the deceased Sriram Srinivasan. Against this petition, a Caveat and supporting affidavit were filed by the Caveator. As per order of this Court, the Original Petition No.683 of 2022 was converted into Testamentary Original Suit No.7 of 2024.

JUDGMENT

When the matter was taken up today, the learned counsel for the plaintiff and the defendant submitted that the matter has been compromised between the parties before the Mediation Centre. Pursuant to the same, they have filed a Joint Memo of Compromise dated 23.08.2024 which has been duly signed by them and their respective counsel. The said Joint Memo of Compromise is recorded.

2. In view of the same, the suit is decreed in terms of the Joint Memo of Compromise entered between the parties and the above Joint Memo of Compromise shall form part of the decree. The Court Fee is ordered to be refunded as per law.
