Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, r/w Article 215 of the Constitution of India, to issue notice to the first respondent herein and punish the first respondent for having committed an act of contempt of the order of this Court passed in W.A.No.1209 of 2019 dated 10.08.2023. ORDER

(Order of the Court was authored by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders passed by this Court vide order dated 10.08.2023 made in W.A.No.1209 of 2019.

2. Today, when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.J.L.Durairaj, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent would submit that the orders passed by this Court have been complied with and in support of his contentions, he has produced the proceedings issued by the Educational Officer, bearing reference No. EDN No.E1/7927/2024 dated 22.07.2024 and the petitioner has also produced a letter dated 29.08.2024, stating as follows:- "In response to the Hon'ble Madras High Court order in W.A.1290 dated 10.08.2023 I received Rs.3,60,339 (Three Lakhs Sixty Thousand Three Hundred and Thirty Nine Only) on 25.08.2024."

3. In view of the said compliance, no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition, hence, the same stands closed. (R.S.K., J.) (K.B., J) 21.03.2025 drm
