Ms.S.Ramya Revathy, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the second respondent to consider her representation dated 01.03.2018, wherein and whereby, she sought for releasing the widow pension, which was stopped from the year 2016.

3. Heard both sides.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband was died on 12.12.2002 and thereafter, the petitioner made an application in the year 2010 to the second respondent seeking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for monetary benefits / pension for her family livelihood. The second respondent considered the petitioner's application and passed an order on 31.01.2011, sanctioning the widow pension to her. It is stated that the petitioner had received the widow pension from the year 2011 to 2016 end, but without any reason, the respondents stopped the widow pension. Hence, the petitioner gave a representation on 01.03.2018 to the respondents 1 and 2, seeking for releasing of the widow pension from the year 2016.

5. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said request has not been considered by the respondents so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.03.2018 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
