ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.11.2013, for the issuance of a patta in favour of the petitioner, in respect of the land in S.No.152/1 & 3, in Tharabakkam village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District.

At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent had submitted that the respondent may be directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.11.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

In view of such submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.11.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as to the other persons concerned, if any. The writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
