[Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.] Earlier, this Court, in a petition filed for modification of the order passed in W.A.Nos.1218 and 1282 of 2021 & W.P.No.6130 of 2021 and for other reliefs, in C.M.P.Nos.27597 and 27601 of 2023, passed an order on 22.12.2023, modifying the order passed in the Writ Appeal. In Para No.16 of the order dated 22.12.2023, this Court gave liberty to the parties to approach the authorities for modification or cancellation of Scheme Decree under Section 65(4) of the HR & CE Act and the order of the Commissioner directing election for the administration of the Temple was directed to be kept in abeyance till 31.01.2024. 2.Now, the above Miscellaneous Petition is filed to extend the time of 31.01.2024 by any other date or in the alternative, issue a direction to the Joint Commissioner of HR & CE, Kancheepuram, to forward the application of the petitioner dated 29.11.2023 to the Commissioner, HR & CE, Chennai, by a date to be fixed by this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader (HR & CE) appearing for the respondents 2 and 3.

4.This petition is allowed and the time outline fixed by this Court is extended till such time the Commissioner, HR & CE, passes an order in the application. It is now reported that the application is yet to reach the Commissioner. Therefore, the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE, Kancheepuram, is directed to forward the application, dated 29.11.2023, submitted by the petitioner.
