By consent, the writ petition is take up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that he along with his wife purchased landed property in Survey Nos.408/1C, 409/8, 413/10, 68 at Athur, Chengalpet District by registered sale deed dated 15.12.2011 bearing Doc.No.1278 of 2011 on the file of the Joint-2 Sub Registrar, Chengalpet. He would further state that he along with his wife are in absolute possession and enjoyment of the same. The petitioner after purchasing the property, approached the second respondent vide application dated 03.05.2013 for transfer of patta and reminder dated 04.04.2015 and since after paying necessary fees, he has not been favoured with any response, he has come forward with this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.J.Sudhakaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.RAS.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents 1 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

This Court without going into the merits of the representation dated 03.05.2013 and reminder dated 04.04.2015, submitted by the petitioner, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the said application/representation, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
