Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to take necessary action and dispose the representation given by the petitioner dated 13.02.2014 as expeditiously as possible. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to take necessary action and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2014.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he was a Ward Member in Ithalar Panchayat Union at Nilgiris. At that time, the third respondent-Premalatha was elected as a President. Since the third respondent was indulging in illegal activities, the petitioner gave a representation on 13.02.2014 to take action. Since no follow-up action was taken, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.R.Aranganathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Manikandan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the records. Despite service of notice and the name of the third respondent printed in the cause list, none appeared for her.
4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner has not produced any proof for submitting the representation and if any fresh representation is given, the respondents 1 and 2 to shall take appropriate action.
5. In the light of the above facts and submissions of the learned Government Advocate, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the respondents 1 and 2 within a period of two weeks by enclosing a copy of this order. On such receipt, the respondents shall take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There is no order as to costs.
