PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records relating to the communication received by the petitioner from the second respondent's office in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.555/12/A2/(tha) dated 17.9.2012 and signed on behalf of the first respondent and quash the same.

ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the term of office of the petitioner as president of the panchayat has expired and that therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous and may be dismissed as such.
