Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of property comprised in Old Survey No.601 and New Survey No.755, Old Survey No.602 and New Survey No.756 situate at New Ward No.46, Royapuram Extension, Thiruppur North Taluk based on the application dated 20.06.2014.

By consent the writ petition is take up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner is represented by her power of attorney Mr.D.Raja. In terms of a compromise decree dated 21.04.2014 made in

O.S.No.326 of 2013 on the file of the Sub Court, Thiruppur, the petitioner was allotted 'A' schedule property and with a view to develop her property executed a general power of attorney dated 03.06.2014 in favour of the deponent to this affidavit. The power agent on the basis of the authorisation, submitted an application to the 4th respondent for issuance of patta on 20.06.2014. Since no order came to be passed on the said application, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has invited the attention of this Court to a communication dated 27.11.2014, received from the the Public Information Officer, Headquarters Tahsildar, Tiruppur North, wherein it has been stated that since enquiry has been conducted by the office of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruppur appropriate action will be taken on receipt of the said decision.

5. I have heard the submission of Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

This Court without going into the merits of the application of the petitioner, directs the second respondent to take a decision in terms of the information furnished in the R.T.I. letter in O.M.No.5024/2014/A1, dated 27.11.2014 and dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 20.06.2014 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the same to the Tahsildar, Tiruppur Taluk, who in turn is directed to consider the same after putting the concerned persons on notice and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
