This writ petition has been filed by Mr.R.Swaminathan seeking only a limited prayer to direct the first respondent to consider his representation dated 18.8.2014 wherein he has mentioned that he being senior citizen, was refused the service benefits although he reached the age of superannuation in the month of May 2005.

2. Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents 1 and 2.

Since the petitioner has sought for a limited request to consider his representation dated 18.8.2014, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.8.2014 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
