O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 06.01.2025.

2. Heard Mr.M.Duraimurugan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered settlement deed dated 24.02.2006. Subsequently, patta was also issued in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.181. The petitioner wanted to conduct survey in the subject property to demarcate the boundaries and hence, an application was submitted by the petitioner on 06.01.2025. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 06.01.2025 and conduct a survey for demarcation of boundaries. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any other rival claims, the respondents shall conduct survey in their presence.
