PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to produce entire list of properties entrusted to them under section 18 of the Court of Wards Act by the late Zamindar Sri Varagunaramapandiya Chinnathambiar and furnish the present status of the properties thus entrusted. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the 2nd respondent herein to produce entire list of properties entrusted to them under section 18 of the Court of Wards Act by the late Zamindar Sri Varagunaramapandiya Chinnathambiar and furnish the present status of the properties.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, 5 and 6 made a submission that the other legal heirs filed separate writ petitions in W.P.Nos.7770/2019 and 6990/2012 and pursuant to the orders of the High Court dated 29.08.2016, the Principal Secretary and the Commissioner of Land Administration, Ezhilagam, Chepauk, Chennai passed an order in proceedings dated 30.03.2017 and in the said proceedings, the Commissioner of Land Administration furnished the list of properties handed over by the Court of Wards to the Government and all other available details along with the history of the case is also furnished in the said proceedings.

3. The prayer sought four in the present writ petition is to direct the 2nd respondent herein to produce entire list of properties entrusted to them under section 18 of the Court of Wards Act.

4. Now, in the said proceedings dated 30.03.2017, the list of properties handed over by the Court of Wards to the Government has been furnished. Based on the said proceedings, the petitioner is also at liberty to initiate all further actions in the manner known to law and by following the procedures.

5. With this liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
