ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner based on representation given to the second respondent dated 9.1.2016.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that based on the complaint given by one Chinnu, the respondent police is frequently calling the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and harassing him. Hence, the petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that earlier, a petition in Crl.O.P.No.27261 of 2015 was filed by the said Chinnu, in which this Court directed the respondent police to conduct investigation on the representation given by the said Chinnu and that is the reason, the respondent police is calling the petitioner for enquiry. Absolutely, there is no intention on the part of the respondent police to harass the petitioner. Only in order to avoid enquiry, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, I am of the opinion, there is no need to give any specific direction to the respondent police.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the criminal original petition is closed.
