ORDER

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, ACJ.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Vasutha Thiagarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on merits by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 27.12.2016 within a stipulated time as this Honourable Court fixes.

3. The petitioner, being a resident of Mahalingapuram, Pollachi, Coimbatore District and having aggrieved over the obstructions made by the building owners and shop owners by way of parking their vehicles on the road, it appears, had submitted a representation to the respondent-authorities and finding that no action has been taken on his representation, has come forward with the present writ petition, by way of a public interest litigation.

4. Therefore, it is for the respondent-authorities to take a decision on the grievance expressed by the petitioner vis-a-vis the persons, who are parking their vehicles on the road, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs .
