Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ, or order, or directiion more particularly a Writ in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders for granting annual increment to the petitioner withheld in the post of B.T. Assistant (English) form the year 2022 onwards with all 1/5

consequential and other attendant benefits along with interest for the period till the date of payment as well as promotion to the post of P.G. Assistant (English) in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioner dated 12.11.2024.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking to examine the representation given by the petitioner on 12.11.2024. In the said representation, the petitioner had protested withholding of the post of B.T. Assistant (English) from the year 2022 onwards. The petitioner claims that the said post should have been extended to her and therefore, she should be granted that promotion and all service monetary benefits.

2. Instructions have been forwarded by the learned Special Government Pleader that the petitioner had completed her school education in Kerala and had not obtained marks as required in this State. It is also contended that the spelling of the name of the petitioner differs in the certificate and as given before the respondents. 2/5

3. A direction is given to the respondents to examine the representation and pass appropriate necessary orders on the basis of the records already available. The said exercise may be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
