ORDER

The petitioner states that one Vincent K.Thomas acquired title over the property described in paragraph 2 of the affidavit in support of this writ petition and executed sale deed dated 09.01.2026 in favour of the petitioner. Upon being presented for registration, it is stated that the registering officer has neither registered the document nor issued a refusal check slip.

2. Ms.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice for the sole respondent. She submits that a protest petition was received and that the petitioner's document would be registered or a speaking order of refusal would be issued within thirty days.

3. Taking note of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to either register the document presented by the petitioners or issue a speaking order of refusal within thirty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after considering and disposing of the protest
