ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer of investigation in Crime No.71 of 2020 on the file of the 2nd respondent to some other investigating agency.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that F.I.R was registered on 25.01.2020 for the offences under Sections 448, 294(b), 380, 506(ii) of I.P.C, alleging that the accused person had stolen valuable things from the petitioner's house. Even then the second respondent did not take any action as against the accused persons and investigation is still pending.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the crime is of the year 2020 and the investigation is still pending. Due to Pandemic circumstance it could not be able to complete the investigation.

4. Considering the above submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and that the crime has been registered as against named persons and also due to pandemic circumstance it could not be able to complete the investigation, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. However, the 1st respondent is also directed to monitor the investigation done by the 2nd respondent and also ensure that the 2nd respondent shall comply the order passed by this Court.

6. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed off.
