ORDER
The petitioner R.Sharmila Devi, whose mother D.Kamughachandra Sheela appointed in the year 1973 as Pre-vocational Instructor in the Municipal School, Varnapuram, Bhavani, Erode District, died on 29.12.1999, leaving behind her
husband and three daughters including the petitioner while in service, given an application seeking employment on compassionate grounds on 06.11.2000. Subsequently, the Additional Assistant Elementary Educational Officer/the fifth respondent herein forwarded the papers to the District Elementary Educational Officer/the fourth respondent herein, who in turn forwarded the same to the third respondent. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that since the application seeking employment on compassionate grounds has not been considered by the respondents for a long time, the petitioner is before this Court.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the third respondent to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
