DR.No.21015 of 2022 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J This application is filed for leave to institute the suit against the respondent before this Court. The applicant states that the suit is filed for infringement of trademark and passing off. It is further stated that the respondent is selling the product bearing the infringing mark at Chennai.

2. Upon examining the draft plaint and the affidavit in support of the application, I find that at least a part of the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. Accordingly, A.No.1118 of 2022 is allowed by granting leave to the applicant to sue the respondent before this Court. Consequently, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if it is otherwise in order.
