Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the proceedings of the 1st respondent's herein under Rule 10(a)(1) of the General Rules for Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Services, R.No.101694/EA 2016/S3 dated 16.12.2016 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the 1st respondent to allot the employment to petitioner's son which was allotted to petitioner husband.

ORDER

After arguing the matter for considerable length of time, when the Court has expressed that any temporary employee appointed under 10(a) (1) of the General Rules for Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Services, died in service, their legal heirs are not entitled for appointment on compassionate grounds under the Scheme, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner expressed his willingness to withdraw the writ petition.
