Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned Letter No.23915/A5/2020 dated 02.12.2020 issued by the respondents and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to redo the exercise of fixation of seniority list within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This case earlier came up for consideration before this Court on 25.07.2024. As there was no representation for the petitioner the matter was directed to be listed today. Today also, there is no representation for the petitioner.

2. This writ petition has been filed challenging the Letter No.23915/A5/2020 dated 02.12.2020 of the first respondent calling for certain particulars pertaining to the Assistants in the Registration Department for the purpose of revising the panel.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration today, it is brought to the notice of this Court, by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents that the process pursuant to the impugned letter has already been concluded and the same is the subject matter in Writ Appeal Nos.1036 and 1037 of 2021.

4. In view of the same and in the absence of any contradiction to the said statement, this Court is left with no other alternative, but to conclude that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. In case the petitioner is aggrieved by the proceedings that are concluded by the respondents pursuant to the impugned letter, they are at liberty to take appropriate steps against the said proceedings in accordance with law.
