Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dated 19.01.2015 requesting them to implement the IAY Scheme (Indira Awaas Yojana) strictly in accordance with the guidelines framed by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India and to take action against the 6th respondent for her illegal action in implementing the said scheme in Royakottai Panchayat during the period from 2011 to 2014 in accordance with law, within a time frame stipulated by this Court. (Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The learned counsel for the petitioner brings to our notice the information received under RTI Act, dated 29.12.2014, which is, however, not placed on record. In terms of this information, the complaint of the petitioner having been forwarded to the authorities concerned, who are looking into the matter. That being the position, the petitioner cannot have any grievance at this stage and we expect the authorities concerned to expeditiously examine the matter and complete the process in a maximum period of three months from today.
2. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs.
