ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.42163 of 2016, by order dated 01.12.2016, has directed the respondent to pass final orders on the disciplinary proceedings concluded in Letter No.16017/N1/2014-9 dated 06.01.2015 against the petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks.

2.Alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 15.11.2016, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate, by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 01.03.2018 issued by the respondent, submitted that pursuant to the direction by this Court, after completing the disciplinary proceedings, the respondent has passed an order imposing punishment of stop of increment for two years without cumulative effect against the petitioner. As such, the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
