the same and direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Planning) in the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation within a reasonable time and promote her.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to call for the records of the first respondent in connection with the impugned order passed by him in Na.Ka.No.30303/2014(MC.10/MC.1) dated 25.05.2015 and quash the same and direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Planning) in the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation

within a reasonable time and promote her.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the relief sought for has been already granted for the petitioner and therefore, nothing survives for consideration of this Cout in this matter and hence, this matter has become infructuous.

In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
