Park Gate 1 and Corporation Park , Taramani, Chennai-113 within a time frame and till final decision is taken, not to disturb the running of the petitioner's bunk shop at the aforesaid address. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) According to the petitioner, he has made an application to the first respondent on 29.1.2015 seeking licence to run a bunk shop at CSIR Road, opposite Ascendas I.T.Park Gate-I and Corporation Park, Taramani, Chennai. Despite his application, which has gone unheeded to, no order has been passed. The petitioner is under threat of removal from the site.

2. Mr. G. Anantharangan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent, submits that the pending application will be considered, on merits, at the earliest.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent, without going into the merits of the case, we direct the first respondent to examine the petitioner's application and deal with the same by passing an appropriate order strictly on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
