Despite the Tr.C.M.P being listed today for passing orders, in view of non-appearance of the respondents, even today, there is no representation on the side of the respondents.

2. The present transfer petition has been filed by the first defendant in O.S.No.148 of 2024, seeking transfer of the suit from the file of the District Munsif Court, Krishnagiri to the file of District Munsif Court, Thiruvarur.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the distance between Tiruvaur to Krishnagiri comes to around 320 kms and the petitioner finds it very difficult to travel up and down 640 kms for every hearing.

5. I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of the petition. The petitioner has assigned genuine and acceptable reasons for being unable to attend the hearings at Krishnagiri.

6. In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner has made out a case for transfer of the suit, as prayed for.

7. Accordingly, the Tr. C.M.P. No.210 of 2025 is allowed and the suit in O.S.No.148 of 2024 pending on the file of District Munsif Court, 2/4

Krishnagiri is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the District Munsif Court, Thiruvarur.

8. The District Munsif Court, Krishnagiri is directed to send the entire records relating to O.S.No.148 of 2024 to District Munsif Court, Thiruvarur forthwith.

9. The District Munsif Court, Thiruvarur is directed to take up the O.S.No.148 of 2024 and dispose of the same expeditiously, in a manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
