ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking only a limited prayer for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct respondents 2 to 4 herein to consider the representation dated 25.3.2015 for promotion under seniority quota.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that after the appointment of the petitioner in the fourth respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
college in the year 1991, periodical promotions had been taking place, however, he was not considered for promotion and therefore, aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the second respondent, a representation has been given on 25.3.2015, but, till date, the same has not been considered. Finding no response, he has come to this court seeking a direction against second respondent to consider his representation dated 25.3.2015.
3. Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 and 2.
4. Keeping in view the limited prayer made by the petitioner to dispose of his representation, this court, without going into the merits, directs the second respondent to consider his representation dated 25.3.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. ssk.
