Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue orders, directions or writs in particular a Writ of Mandamous directing the 2nd respondent Assistant Commissioner of Labour (Conciliation), Sriperumbudur, to commence and conclude the conciliation proceedings and sent the report require under Section 12(4) of the Industrial Disputes Act with in such time as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court and further direct the 1st Respondent Government of Tamil Nadu to pass orders on reference with in such time as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in view of the subsequent development in which the Government has declined to refer the dispute to the Jurisdictional Court, nothing survives for adjudication. 2.In such view of the matter, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for appropriate remedy against the order passed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
