Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the First Respondent to dispose of the Memorandum of Revision of the Petitioner dated 08.09.2018. For Petitioner :

Heard Mr. S.Vijayakumar, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. V.Jeevagiridharan, Learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Second Respondent by order order dated 12.07.2018 in R.C. No. Ser IV(1)/24337/2017 had rejected an appeal filed by the Petitioner and had mentioned that any Revision Petition against the same shall be filed before the First Respondent within 60 days from the date of its receipt. According to the Petitioner, he had preferred a Revision Petition dated 08.09.2018 which had been despatched by registered post on 12.09.2018 to the First Respondent, but nothing has been heard in that regard. In such circumstances, this Writ Petition has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been filed for directing the First Respondent to pass orders on the Revision Petition dated 08.09.2018 filed by the Petitioner within a time limit that may be fixed by the Court. 3.

Having regard to the said grievance ventilated, this Court without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made by the Petitioner in the Revision Petition filed before the First Respondent, requires it to be examined following the prescribed procedure in consonance with the principles of natural justice and pass reasoned orders dealing with each of the contentions raised on merits and in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken under written acknowledgment. Such exercise shall be completed by 30.04.2022 and a report of compliance shall be filed before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court.

In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. No costs.
