Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified to call for the records of the 2nd respondent made in his order in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.25586/2010/B1, dated 22.10.2011 and the consequential order of the 1st respondent issuing an order of censure made in its proceedings in G.O.Ms.No.179 Tamil Development, Religious Endowments and Information (A.Ne.2-2) Department dated 12.07.2012 and the quash the same insofar as it imposes punishment on the petitioner.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. An endorsement to the said effect is also made by the learned counsel for the petitioner in the petition today.

2. In view of the above submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the view that, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and accordingly, this Writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
