ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay difference in leave salary and difference in gratuity as per 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 with 10 percent interest to the petitioners.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that they joined in the servive of the respondent Corporation as Drivers, Conductors and Helper trainee on various dates and retired from service. After retirement the respondents settled terminal benefits based on the salary paid. 15th settlement benefit was not extended to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioners made a representation on 08.01.2026 to the respondents claiming the difference in gratuity, leave salary and the same is not considered. Hence, the petitioners have been paid the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2026 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
