Mr.S.Soundararajan Government Advocate (in WP.Nos.6645 to 6647 of 2018)

C O M M O N O R D E R In all these writ petitions, the petitioners are seeking for Mandamus directing the respondents to receive the Application Form CCPA dated 05.03.2018, 05.03.2018 & 05.03.2018 respectively with prescribed fees and grant the Maxi Cab Permit in respect of the vehicles bearing Reg.No.TN-73-C-0376, Reg.No.TN-05-AH-6123 and Reg.No.TN22-BM-4885 respectively.

2. Mr.S.Soundararajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondents are not even receiving the application form for grant of Maxi Cab permit. Needless to say that it is for the respondents to consider and decide as to whether the petitioners are entitled to such permit or not and therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioners. However, as it is stated that the respondents are not even receiving the applications, these writ petitions are disposed of only with a direction to the respondents to receive the application from the

petitioners and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
